Exciting new sites I discovered!

Blogging is like a maze of wires interconnecting with others of like minds. I don't remember how i found these new sites...oh, yes I do. I was reading Betty John's blog:
http://artisticexpressionsphotographync.blogspot.com/ and saw one of the buttons she has collected. It looked interesting so  I checked it out.
Here it is:http://arosynote.blogspot.com/  From there I found this sweet site:
http://junemakessix.blogspot.com/2011/04/super-size.html And she led me to:
http://fashionandmodesty.blogspot.com/ where she is sponsoring a portrait contest. Well, that is my thing, y'all. I love flowers and all, but my real passion is photographing people. So I just had to get in on this. Oh, this is so much fun!

Here is another discovery that you must check out: http://www.whiteironstonecottage.blogspot.com/  It is all about shabby chic decorating. Just sooo pretty.
Hope you have a wonderful day!

What a fun post Charlotte! And what a handsome portrait! Love those piercing blue eyes. Reminds me of Paul Newman!

Hi Charlotte! I just wanted to stop by and say "thank you" for visiting my blog! I am off to visit the blogs you recommended, but before I go, I must say what amazing portraits you have! That is a real talent! Taking photos of people is something I need to work on...thanks for the inspiration!

Haha, yes, it's amazing how one site can lead to another and another. I also agree that portrait photography is not only your thing, but it's your gift! It's a wonderful thing! The photo above perfectly illustrates that. Those ice blue eyes are amazing! Enjoy your weekend.

Oh, I am not selling the 55-250 lens because the 100-400 is a behemoth. It's way too big for a walk-around lens, so I will need to keep the 55-250. Sorry. Hope you find a longer zoom that does a good job.
